Yes, Raichu is definitely worth using over Pikachu. While Pikachu remains an iconic mascot, its base form suffers from extremely low stats and poor combat viability in Pokémon GO.
In contrast, Raichu (and its Alolan variant) features significantly higher stats across attack, defense, and stamina, making it a much more capable attacker in Raids and lower-tier PvP. If you want an electric-type mouse on your team, Raichu is far superior in combat performance.
