Pokémon GO cards — is this an actual TCG tie-in or something else?
Saw something about Pokémon GO cards and wasn't sure if that's a real physical TCG set or just in-game cosmetic stuff. Anyone know what this actually refers to?

Yes, it is an official TCG tie-in.

The Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion set was released as a special collaborative set between The Pokémon Company and Niantic.
