Latias: underrated bulk or just the weaker Eon sibling?

Question

People tend to prefer Latios, but Latias has better bulk and a nice support movepool. Do you think Latias deserves more love, especially with the Mega Evolution option?

Alexander · Answer

I think it’s underrated, because the bulk and speed together let it do a lot. Latios does hit harder, but Latias is the one I’d trust to survive a hit.

Jason · Answer

I think Latias is underrated rather than simply being the weaker Eon sibling. Its special bulk and access to recovery moves like Recover make it surprisingly reliable, especially in longer battles. Latios may hit harder, but Latias can take hits and support the team better. It really depends on whether you prefer raw damage or staying power.
