How can I get an Espeon in Pokémon GO?

Trying to guarantee an Espeon in Pokémon GO rather than a random Eeveelution. Is the nickname trick still reliable or is there a buddy/daytime method that works better now?

You can get Espeon in Pokémon GO by evolving Eevee in either of these ways:

Nickname trick: Rename Eevee to Sakura and evolve it using 25 Eevee Candy. This trick works only once per account.
Walking method: Make Eevee your Buddy, walk 10 km with it, earn 2 Eevee Candy, and keep it as your Buddy. Then evolve it during the daytime using 25 Candy.
