Absol: Mega Absol’s Magic Bounce, is it worth it?

Question

Absol has a high Attack stat and a good movepool, but I never know whether to use the standard set or go Mega for Magic Bounce. Which version of Absol do you prefer, and is it worth the Mega slot?

Ankit · Answer

Yes, Magic Bounce is excellent because it reflects many status moves and entry hazards back at the opponent. However, Mega Absol is fragile, so switching it in safely requires good prediction. It works best as a fast offensive Pokémon with moves like Knock Off and Sucker Punch.

Aney · Answer

Mega Absol’s Magic Bounce is incredibly useful because it reflects entry hazards and status moves. However, its low defenses make careful switching essential. I think it works best as an offensive threat.
